
The uneasy relationship between man and wildlife is one of modern civilization’s continuing dilemmas. But the contestants, Terry Redlin’s art informs us, are capable of living in harmony. Throughout his paintings we find wildlife co-existing peacefully among the activities and artifacts of man: the farmer at work in the field, rusting equipment, abandoned buildings, broken fences, deserted back roads, weekend campers, even prospering on the edge of bustling commerce.
