Redlin Art Center Offers Veterans Free Print on Veterans Day
On Sunday, November 11th and Monday, November 12, 2012, Veterans visiting the Redlin Art Center will receive a complimentary unframed “Exclusive Edition” print.
Since its release in 2004, the Redlin Art Center has proudly featured a series that was painted by Terry Redlin as a tribute to servicemen and women and their families. “An American Portrait” is a collection of seven paintings that capture life’s most important moments in a young boy’s life. This heartfelt series was inspired by the artist’s personal experiences and those of his brother-in-law, Charles Langenfeld. This special series along with Terry Redlin’s “America the Beautiful” series are anchor paintings in the part of the Gallery called “The America Room”.
This Veterans Day, as a tribute to all Veterans, the Redlin Art Center is offering a complimentary “Exclusive Edition” print to those Veterans visiting the gallery.
In addition, the Redlin Art Center will feature special music on Sunday, November 11th from 1 p.m. until 1: 45 p.m. Vocalist April Worlie and pianist Danielle Holmquist-Holida will present a patriotic montage for all to enjoy.
The Redlin Art Center is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.
Note: Veterans will be asked to show a military I.D. card.
